We would love to host your students, department, or group on a tour of SMIF! For groups larger than five participants, we will rotate your group through your choice of a variety of available activities (see the drop-down menu on the left of this page).
During the guided tour, you will see the different bays of the cleanroom including the orange-lit photolithography bay, where scientists and engineers perform chemical reactions sensitive to UV light. You will also see our Micro-CT lab with UV resin 3D printer and our scanning electron microscopes - including a cryo-Transmission Electron Microscope that takes up a whole room!
