Outreach

SMIF has an amazing array of equipment that we want to share with K-12 teachers and students.

We had more than 700 outreach students visit our facility last year and we brought our science tools to more than 1800 students in schools and community centers!

When you visit SMIF, you can try out being a scientist, including the outfit!
