The Shimadzu UV-3600i UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer incorporates the latest technology in optical components to achieve high sensitivity, high resolution, and an ultra-low stray light level. Measurement capability in the UV, Visible and up to 3,300nm in the near-IR region allows for characterizing liquid and solid samples.
Applications
- Optical spectrum measurements (absorbance, transmittance, diffuse and specular reflectance) over a wavelength range of 185nm - 3300nm
- Photometric analysis to determine concentration of a substance in a sample
- Kinetics analysis to observe time dependent changes in optical properties
Features
- High sensitivity 3 detector system (PMT for UV and visible range, InGaAs and PbS for Near Infrared range)
- High resolution, wide measurement range and ultra low stray light, using a high performance double monochromator
- Integrating Sphere attachment (ISR-603) for Diffuse Reflectance measurements of solids, powders, and liquids
- Specular Reflectance attachment for solids
- Temperature controlled 8 cell micro cell accessory (0-110 degrees C) for absorbance or transmission of liquids
- LabSolutions UV-Vis software package
