Micro-CT & SEM
Justin earned his B.A. in Biological Anthropology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and his M.A. in Biological Anthropology from The City University in New York (CUNY) Graduate Center. He joined the Shared Materials Instrumentation Facility (SMIF) in 2015.
Justin's first experience with Micro-CT imaging was as a graduate student at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, where he worked directly with fossil, bone, and tissue collections. By combining hands-on curation with cutting-edge scanning and digitization, he built the foundation for his work today. At SMIF, Justin leads a CT lab that partners with museums and universities around the world, processing dozens of research shipments each year and advancing discovery through imaging.
