The RECO2 Workstation is built in house by Nikon Metrology for specific use with x-ray computed tomography (CT) data reconstruction and quick analysis. It houses Nikon's CT Pro 3D software for reconstructing CT data generated by Nikon MicroCT scanners such as SMIF's "MICROCT1." An installation of the open-sourced  ImageJ software is installed on RECO2 as well to meet the image processing needs of most research or for quick visualization of volume rendered data. Please contact SMIF staff if you would like to request 3rd party software be installed on RECO2 or RECO1 for research use involving high computational rendering. Note, RECO2 does not have Volume Graphics VGStudioMAX 2.2 licensing.
